Many of my friends ask me what in the world will I do while Steve is on sabbatical leave and I am alone. This blog is to let you know....probably more than you want to know about me and my family. It will be a vehicle to stay connected to my beautiful 3 daughters and their families. One of the hardest things for me to do is leave behind 8 grandchildren for more than a half of year. Our last sabbatical in New Zealand (2008 - 2009) I left behind one grandchild, Noah and came back to two with another to arrive within a month. This time even more changes will happen while we are away down under. Even though this is hard, it is exciting. I love my family dearly, but the one I love the most, my best friend Steve will be with me and I am sure it will be a delight!
